Request for Thesis Review

After meeting all qualifications to submit a dissertation and passing the open presentation held every semester in the relevant department, prepared necessary documents announced by the Dean of Graduate School and request for a dissertation review.
However, for the doctoral degree program, you can request a dissertation review only when the research performance of the sub-dissertation is at 100% or higher within the last 5 years from the date of request for review.

* Sub-thesis research performance: Solo research (excluding the advisor) - 100%, joint research by two people - 70%(excluding the advisor), joint research by three or more people (excluding the advisor) - 50%
* Recognition scope and weight of sub-thesis: Registered (candidate) papers with the National Research Foundation of Korea or more. 100% or more (details according to the department's bylaws)

Thesis Acquisition Procedure

Students select their advisor and thesis title immediately after enrollment → Complete credits for each degree course → Pass qualification test → Open presentation → Pass the thesis review → Submit thesis (common for master's/doctoral: 2 copies for approval, 2 copies for submission. Total 4 copies) → Acquisition of degree
